Visiting the website
When you visit the website, our server processes technically necessary data: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the page you came from, and your browser and operating system. Without this data the website cannot be delivered or protected against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The server logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.
The website runs on the server of a hosting provider in the European Union that operates it on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). It is delivered via Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, which serves the pages quickly and protects them against attacks. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
No cookies, no tracking
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. Fonts and images come from our own server; no data is transferred to Google, Meta or other providers when you visit.
Visitor statistics
To see which pages are read, we count page views on our own server: the page, the language, the time and the website you came from (only its address, such as google.com). Whether a view belongs to a new visit is recognised by an encrypted value derived from your IP address and browser, which changes every day, expires after four hours and is never stored permanently. The statistics do not allow conclusions about individual people. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Online booking and vouchers
You book appointments and buy vouchers in our booking system at booking.glowgardenduesseldorf.de, which is embedded on the booking page. What you enter there goes directly to the booking system. Which data we process for this is described in the privacy notice of the booking system.
Available times and reviews shown on this website are fetched by our server from the booking system in advance; no data about you is transferred.
Enquiry form
If you send us an enquiry through a form, for example for a mobile manicure, we store your details, the wording of your consent and the time. Instead of your IP address we only store a value that cannot be reversed, to detect abuse. We use your details solely to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). We are notified of new enquiries by e-mail, and you also receive our reply by e-mail; the e-mails are sent by a service provider on our behalf. Enquiries are deleted automatically after six months.
Maps and social networks
The "Plan route" link leads to Google Maps, links to Instagram lead to Instagram. These providers' pages only open when you click; nothing is transferred before. Posts from our Instagram profile are shown as a copy from our own server.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Please write to us at the address above.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
